Ryumon Falls and Ryumonjizaka

Ryumon Falls boasts an impressive scale of 46m drop and 43m width, and has been selected as one of the "500 Best Waterfalls in Japan." Ryumonjizaka was once a highway connecting Edo and Satsuma for the transport of feudal lord processions and goods, and about XNUMXm of it remains in its original state. It was also used as a filming location for the historical drama "Saigo Don."
