A word from the store
Our Kurobuta pork shabu-shabu is our top recommendation. First, try half of it with our homemade ponzu sauce, then add yuzu pepper to our golden broth and enjoy the Kurobuta pork shabu-shabu for an even more delicious experience. Our ramen to finish the meal is also superb!
Furthermore, the "thick-cut aged pork cutlet," which allows you to savor the umami and sweetness unique to Kagoshima-produced aged pork matured in a aging chamber, is surprisingly tender and juicy despite its thickness, offering an astonishingly delicious taste.
For those ordering the set meal, we highly recommend pouring our golden broth over your tonkatsu (pork cutlet) at the end to enjoy it as a "dashi chazuke" (rice with broth) style dish!

Savor the best of Rokuhaku Kurobuta pork! A restaurant where you can enjoy both Kurobuta shabu-shabu and Kurobuta tonkatsu.
Located a 3-minute walk from the west exit of JR Kagoshima-Chuo Station, "Kagoshima Kurobuta Rokuhakutei" offers a variety of dishes featuring Kagoshima's brand-name "Rokuhaku Kurobuta" pork, including shabu-shabu and tonkatsu.
The signature Rokuhaku Kurobuta shabu-shabu (from 2,398 yen per person) features tender, flavorful Rokuhaku Kurobuta pork served in a golden broth prepared from scratch by skilled chefs. Orders are accepted from one person. The special "golden broth," infused with the delicious flavor of the Kurobuta pork, is so tasty you'll want to drink every last drop. It also comes with a vegetable platter and ramen to finish, guaranteeing a satisfying meal. In addition, the Kurobuta pork and Kurogyu beef shabu-shabu comparison is also popular.
The tonkatsu, fried to a crisp with coarse breadcrumbs, comes in a wide variety of options including Kurobuta pork loin and tenderloin, melt-in-your-mouth Kurobuta pork belly cutlet, and thick slices of sweet, aged pork from the prefecture, along with a full selection of local dishes. You can enjoy authentic flavors at reasonable prices. The freshly milled Isa rice, cooked in a traditional iron pot (one refill available), and the tonkatsu broth chazuke (rice with tonkatsu broth) to finish the meal are also popular. With 300 types of authentic shochu available, it's also nice that a shochu advisor will suggest recommended brands and ways to enjoy them.
