Banshogaoka Park

The park, named after the "guardhouse" that was there during the Edo period to watch out for smuggling, is a beautiful spot where you can enjoy a 360-degree view of Akune city, Koshikijima Island, the Shio mountain range, and more. The park, where seasonal flowers bloom all year round, such as cherry blossoms in the spring and cosmos in the fall, also has a full range of facilities, including a 1.2km long go-kart course and a ground golf course (certified by the Japan Ground Golf Association).
