Kareigawa Station

It is the oldest wooden station building in Kagoshima Prefecture and is a nationally registered tangible cultural property that opened together with Osumi-Yokokawa Station when the Hisatsu Line opened in 1903. It is now an unmanned station, but it is a popular tourist spot, with the tourist train "Hayato no Kaze" stopping there.
