Lake Ikeda

Kyushu's largest lake was formed by ancient volcanic activity, and is a mysterious lake where giant eels with a girth of 50cm live, and where the mystical monster "Issie" is said to live. The lake is decorated with seasonal flowers, and there are plenty of cafes and facilities in the surrounding area where you can enjoy marine leisure activities.
