Kurino-dake Sleeper Stairs

The stairs leading to the Kurinodake Observatory are made from sleepers from the former JNR Yamano Line. There are 561 steps on the left and 555 steps on the right, making them the longest sleeper staircase in Japan. From the observation deck, you can see Sakurajima, Isa Plain, and Kinko Bay.
